An Artist in the Lascaux or Chauvet Cave Era.

Living today we know a lot about ancient civilizations such as who hunted, who nurtured, who protected and so on, but I don't think we would know as much as we do today if it wasn't for the cave illustrations, they made 10,000-30,000 years back.  I feel as though, if those cave illustrations weren't there, we would be missing a piece of history and we probably wouldn't know half the things we know today. Some things we probably wouldn't know are who hunted, the types of animals they had, entertainment, shelter and probably much more. If I lived in a cave over 30, ooo years ago I would probably be trying to convey messages to the far future. I would personally tell the future more about my life than the whole tribe life.                Welcome back to week two of my Art History and Appreciation Discussion, today we will be discussing Kentridge and Fast and how they fit in as art makers.  I personally feel as if there is no standardized way an artist has to follow, when you look back in history all artists have their own concept and aesthetic, no two artists are the same.  Fast has found a way to portray his feeling through short clips of people talking and Kentridge has a style that isn't perfect and has very little to no color. I can't really say I have a favorite form or type of art. I feel as if all art is a form of expression and I've tried just about everything to express myself. From singing, pottery, painting, drawing, poetry, digital, crafting, makeup and I can confidently say, I genuinely like them all.  Am I good at them all? No, Although I do wish to learn more about painting and poetry. I want to learn more about different authors and painters, and I want to learn more about different aesthetics of art and how they came about. I do feel as though different aesthetics have been popularized way more this year (2022) than any other year so it would be quite interesting to learn about different art forms and aesthetics.  Some of the things I do the most at home is draw and make jewelry and read and write. I do plan on starting a jewelry b
